Police in southwestern Idaho investigate apparent drowning

CALDWELL, Idaho (AP) — Police in the southwestern Idaho city of Caldwell are investigating after a 19-year-old man was found dead in a canal.

The name of the man has not been released.

The Caldwell Police Department says emergency workers responded to a report of a body found face-down in the water around 8 p.m. on Sunday. Police say the man apparently drowned, but the death remains under investigation.
