BOSTON (AP) — There's a new goat in New England — and his name's not Brady, but Foles.
Boston's Franklin Park Zoo has named a newborn Nigerian dwarf goat after Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles, making good on a Super Bowl bet with the Philadelphia Zoo.
The Boston zoo had proudly declared Patriots quarterback and five-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady the GOAT, or greatest of all time. Zoo officials challenged the Philadelphia Zoo to name its next goat Brady if the Patriots defeated the Eagles in this year's Super Bowl.
Instead, Foles led the underdog Eagles to a 41-33 win, securing Philadelphia's first Super Bowl victory and the right to have his name bestowed on Boston's newest goat.
