RICHBORO, Pa. (AP) — Police say a neighbor being sought in the slayings of a young couple in their Philadelphia area home died of a drug overdose in Philadelphia.

Bucks County prosecutors said Wednesday that 26-year-old Daniel Kenneth Mooney is believed to have acted alone in killing the victims, who were stabbed multiple times and shot. He's believed to have entered through an unlocked door.

Authorities say a painter found the bodies of 27-year-old Tyler Roy and 28-year-old Christina Roy on Tuesday in the Northampton Township home, just over 20 miles (32 kilometers) northeast of the city. Autopsies are planned Thursday.

Prosecutors say Mooney had no prior contact with the couple, whose vehicle was found in northeast Philadelphia. It's unclear whether anything else was taken from the home.

Details about Mooney's death weren't released.
