SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Police say a 2-year-old boy whose polygamous family is featured on a reality TV show has died following a fire in a southeastern Utah home. The Deseret News reports Adonija Foster died of smoke inhalation Saturday after a fire ignited in the room where he was sleeping. Members of the toddler's family star in TLC's "Three Wives, One Husband."

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Three Thursdays in a row, a northern Utah courthouse has been evacuated over a bomb threat. Utah state courts spokesman Geoff Fattah says the latest threat at the Ogden courthouse came in around 3 p.m. and forced the court to close for the rest of the day. Police concluded late in the afternoon that the threat was without merit. The courthouse plans to open normally on Friday morning. Thursday's evacuation follows similar threats about the courthouse received the previous two weeks.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Police documents say a couple who recently moved from Switzerland to Utah planned a murder-suicide that left their family of four dead, buying sleeping pills and researching shootings. The report says 43-year-old Jessica Griffith believed she suffered from terminal health problems and discussed with her husband a "good time to leave" so they would be together and have "love for eternity." The family of four was found dead in November 2017, months after moving from Switzerland to Mapleton, Utah.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Utah State University has removed its Title IX coordinator after an investigation revealed administrators had not sufficiently addressed sexism and sexual misconduct allegations against some faculty members. The Salt Lake Tribune reports university president Noelle Cockett in an email to the campus community announced the appointment of a former police detective as interim coordinator for the Title IX office, which handles assault and discrimination complaints.
