TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — A prominent neurologist who admitted groping women at a Philadelphia clinic has been charged with sexually molesting patients in New Jersey.

A Mercer County grand jury indicted Dr. Ricardo Cruciani on multiple counts of sexual assault and criminal sexual contact. The indictment was made public Thursday.

Seven patients allege Cruciani victimized them between January 2014 and January 2016 while he was chief neurologist at Capital Health's Institute of Neurosciences in Hopewell Township.

Prosecutors say some of the women came forward after reading about Cruciani's charges in Pennsylvania, where he was sentenced to probation.

Cruciani also is facing charges he sexually assaulted six patients in New York City. He has pleaded not guilty in that case.

Cruciani's lawyer hasn't responded to a request for comment.
