WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (AP) — Police in West Valley City say they've arrested three people after a man was shot at a family party.
They say two 18-year-old men are being held on suspicion of attempted murder, discharge of a firearm and tampering with evidence.
A juvenile also was arrested.
Police say the victim suffered a leg wound and was hospitalized in stable condition.
The shooting occurred around 10 p.m. Friday outside a business complex.
Authorities say a vehicle pulled up to the party and one suspect standing up through the sunroof of the vehicle allegedly shot nine rounds into a crowd of people outside the building.
Police say one of the suspects went to the party to stop a dispute his younger brother had over online and text messages with the victim.
