ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo. (AP) — Wild horses are available for adoption this summer at the Rock Springs Wild Horse Holding Facility.
The Rawlins Daily Times reported (http://bit.ly/2rax8vm ) Friday that the Bureau of Land Management estimates 42 wild horses are available for adoption.
Specialists will be available to answer questions that people might have.
Any person wishing to adopt a wild horse or burro will have to fill out an application, conform to the BLM's minimum adoption requirements and have their application approved.
The wild horses available this summer are all untrained.
