JENNIFER ANISTON is donning her director's hat to shoot her first film project with pal ANDREA BUCHANAN.

The pair have teamed up to make short film ROOM 10 with KRIS KRISTOFFERSON and ROBIN WRIGHT PENN for style magazine Glamour's annual Reel Moments project.

The three stories chosen to be adapted by Glamour bosses are all based on real-life sagas sent in by readers.

Last year GWYNETH PALTROW made her directorial debut when she took charge of a romantic comedy for the project.

Aniston and Buchanan's drama is set in a hospital emergency room, where Kristofferson's patient character quizzes his stern nurse (Wright Penn) about the bad choices she has made in her life.

Kristofferson admits he's thrilled to be working with the former FRIENDS star: "I have so much respect for Jennifer as an actress; it's very easy for me to take direction from her."

Aniston admits Paltrow's debut in 2005 inspired her to get involved this year: "I had seen Gwyneth's last year... and I heard about the whole project, and thought it was fantastic."

Actress BRYCE DALLAS HOWARD also makes her directorial debut, taking charge of another film in the 2006 series. (KL/WNVET/IG)
