CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — The potential for flooding from the mountain snowpack melting this spring and early summer increases in parts of central and western Wyoming. Portions of the North and South Forks of the Shoshone River in northwest Wyoming have been added to the river basins where there is a moderate to high potential for flooding when the snowmelt gets underway in earnest in May and June.

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — A federal judge in Cheyenne has ordered the US Bureau of Land Management to re-evaluate plans for a wild horse roundup in central Wyoming. US District Judge Nancy Freudenthal told the BLM on Monday to reconsider how the roundup would affect wild horses with traits inherited from horses used by Spanish explorers and settlers hundreds of years ago.

JACKSON, Wyoming (AP) — Wyoming's Teton County has imposed a weight restriction on nine roads to help ease the damage from snow melt and rain. The Jackson Hole News & Guide reports that Teton County Public Works Director Sean O'Malley says heavy weight on waterlogged roads can cause rutting, cracking and eventually potholes.

LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — 20-year-old former school bus driver in Laramie has been charged with sexually assaulting two teens. Matthew Allyn Strom was charged with five counts of sexual assault in the first degree, four counts of sexual assault in the second degree and one count of kidnapping.
