SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah (AP) — Firefighters had to tear down a South Salt Lake house to battle a blaze that's now left seven people displaced.
Officials said the fire started about 5 a.m. Sunday.
All the people living in the house were found safe and uninjured outside.
The structure is a total loss and was so damaged that crews tore it down to ensure firefighters could safely work the scene.
The Red Cross is assisting the family.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
