JAPAN — For one Japanese couple, true love means matching outfits.
The couple — married for 37 years — wakes up every morning and coordinates their fashion choice for the day, making sure to document their twin style for their Instagram page — bonpon511.
The stylish couple, who describe themselves as “over 60,” have inspired thousands with whimsical, chic colors and prints. To be precise, more than 105,000 people have fallen in love with their outfits of the day since they first began posting last December.
"Lovely couple, quite a change for the '60s something," wrote one fan. “Congrats and keep doing it."
“You both make my heart smile,” wrote another.
The fashion-forward couple always manages to coordinate at least one pattern, color or accessory — whether it be a scarf, a coat or collar. They seem to have a fondness for gingham and stripes.
OK, enough talk. Dive into some of their most popular posts and see for yourself why these fashionistas are basically taking over Instagram.
Couple goals, to say the least.
