DURHAM, N.C. (AP) — Officials at Boston's Logan International Airport says travelers should check with their airlines today since a winter storm caused numerous cancelations and delays, many because of weather conditions elsewhere.; But New England's weather is pretty dreadful today amid a blizzard warning. Cape Cod could get two feet of snow. Three deaths have been attributed to the storm as it tore through the South.

BAGHDAD (AP) — The Islamic State group has claimed responsibility for another attack in Baghdad. Authorities in the Iraqi capital say a suicide bomber blew up his explosives-laden car in a bustling commercial area, killing at least six civilians and wounding 10 others. A security officer opened fire but too late to stop the attacker. The blast happened in Baghdad's sprawling Shiite district of Sadr City.

LONDON (AP) — Israel's embassy in Britain is red-faced over some comments about a British government official. The embassy has apologized after an employee was recorded saying he wanted to "take down" Foreign Office Minister Alan Duncan, who has criticized Israeli settlement-building in the West Bank.

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (AP) — Following reports of his hospitalization, the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation says infamous cult leader Charles Manson is in a Central California prison. The Department won't actually confirm the 82-year-old Manson was hospitalized, citing privacy concerns.

UNDATED (AP) — The Seattle Seahawks and Houston Texas have advanced in the NFL playoffs. Today, the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Miami Dolphins while the New York Giants travel to Green Bay to take on the Packers.
