ALTA, Wyo. (AP) — Search and rescue teams are looking for a Grand Targhee Resort employee who failed to show up for work after telling friends he wanted to go backcountry snowboarding. The Jackson Hole News and Guide (http://bit.ly/2i5XAB0) repots the 34-year-old man from Driggs, Idaho did not report to work Friday. Teton County sheriff's deputy Kristen Larsen says he is an experienced snowboarder, but it's unclear whether he is familiar with the backcountry. The man's name has not been released.
KELLOGG, Idaho (AP) — A 17-year-old girl from Kellogg was injured when her car spun out on a snow-covered Interstate 90 and was hit by a semi. The Spokesman-Review reports (http://bit.ly/2ie96aB ) that the accident happened at about 8:30 a.m.
RIGBY, Idaho (AP) — The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office has obtained arrest warrants for two additional suspects believed to be involved in an October home invasion near Rigby that ended in a shootout. The Idaho State Journal reports that during the incident, suspect William Shinkle of Victor shot at the homeowner with a handgun but missed.
MERIDIAN, Idaho (AP) — A boy playing in the snow at a commercial construction site was critically injured after a worker accidently drove over him. The Idaho Statesman reports (http://bit.ly/2irqxny ) that the incident happened at about 4:30 p.m. Friday.
