COVE FORT, Utah (AP) — A multiple-vehicle crash involving a snow plow, a semitrailer and several other vehicles about six miles north of Cove Fort in southern Utah has sent six people to hospitals.
Utah Highway Patrol officials say a minor crash involving a snow plow and a passenger car around noon Saturday on northbound I-15 slowed traffic as both vehicles moved to the side of the road.
A semitrailer then crashed into a stopped pickup truck and another truck veered into a ditch.
But the truck was pushed on top of the car in front of it and that car was pushed into another semitrailer at the front of the line.
No fatalities were reported, but Highway Patrol officials say some motorists suffered serious injuries included a pregnant woman and her sister.
