RIVERTON, Wyo. (AP) — Authorities say three people are dead after a traffic crash southwest of Riverton.

Fremont County Coroner Mark Stratmoen says the two-vehicle accident happened early Saturday near Highway 137 and Goes In Lodge Road on the Wind River Indian Reservation.

Stratmoen says two of those killed were a married man and woman, both 70 years old, who were pronounced dead at the scene. A 35-year-old man in the second vehicle died at a hospital in Riverton. He declined to identify them, pending notification of next of kin. But he says all were from Fremont County.

Stratmoen referred other questions about the crash to the Wyoming Highway Patrol, which did not immediately return calls seeking more information.
