OGDEN, Utah (AP) — An Ogden man is accused of physically abusing his 8-week-old daughter, leading to her death.
The Standard-Examiner of Ogden reports (http://bit.ly/2dBi5Wf) that police arrested 25- year-old Michael Lee Hatton early Saturday on the charge of suspicion of murder in the death of daughter Avery.
He is being held in Weber County Jail on $1 million bail.
According to Ogden police, emergency crews responded to a call about an infant no longer breathing on Oct. 2.
The crews met the girl's mother on a street after she started driving to the hospital.
The baby later died at the hospital.
