CLEVELAND (AP) — Police say a man has fatally shot a woman at a Cleveland Burger King restaurant where she worked and then killed himself inside a bathroom.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office on Tuesday identified the woman as 38-year-old Erlyn Rivera-Cintron and the man as 45-year-old Jorge Aviles.
A Cleveland police spokeswoman says Aviles shot Rivera-Cintron in the head after entering the restaurant around 8 a.m. Tuesday and then shot himself in the head. Both died at the scene.
The spokeswoman says Aviles and Rivera-Cintron had been in a relationship and they had lived together until about three months ago.
