SALT LAKE CITY -- A Utah girl is defending herself after she says pictures of her recent hunting trip in South Africa sparked outrage and even threats on social media.
Aryanna Gourdin told ABC's Good Morning America she posted the photos of the trip with her father, Eli, because she enjoys and cherishes hunting. But the pictures quickly polarized the social network, with one photo getting more than 73,000 comments.
Some comments were threatening in nature.
Eli Gourdin says the meat from the giraffe they killed was donated to a South African village.
