WASHINGTON (AP) — Police have arrested a 15-year-old boy in connection with a shooting at a McDonald's near the Verizon Center in Washington.
The Metropolitan Police Department said in a news release Monday that the teenager was arrested Saturday on charges of assault and intent to kill.
The shooting happened Friday morning. When authorities arrived at the scene, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital and is currently listed in serious but stable condition.
Authorities released video showing three persons of interest. No other arrests have been made.
The investigation is ongoing.
