MIAMI (AP) — Authorities say a shooting inside an employee parking garage at Miami International Airport that left two people dead was a murder-suicide.

A Miami-Dade police news release says airport district officers responded to the parking lot Wednesday morning following calls of shots fired.

The release says officers and paramedics found 59-year-old Mario Fernandez suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper extremities and 56-year-old Ivan de la Paz suffering from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the face.

Both men were pronounced dead at scene.

The shooting remains under investigation. Police weren't immediately reporting a motive.
