MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — A public beach in Manchester has been temporarily closed once again this summer due to elevated levels of E. coli.

WMUR-TV reports (http://bit.ly/2beCgYq ) the Manchester Health Department announced the closure Tuesday after water tested near the beach at Crystal Lake was found to have high levels of the bacteria.

Officials say other areas of the lake were tested and they did not have elevated levels of E. coli.

The beach was closed for the same reason last week and in late June.

Health department officials will test the water again Wednesday. The beach will reopen when bacteria levels return to normal.
