BLACKFOOT, Idaho (AP) — An 11-year-old girl has died and her 8-year-old brother is in critical condition after being pulled from a backyard pool in eastern Idaho.
The Blackfoot Police Department tells KIFI-TV (http://bit.ly/2airfE8) that emergency responders were called to the home in Blackfoot on Tuesday.
Officials say both children received life-saving measures but the girl was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Officials say the boy is in critical condition at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Officials haven't released the names of the children.
