PROVO, Utah (AP) — A 28-year-old man has died while rock climbing near Provo.
Provo Police say that Christopher Stockman was rock climbing with friends Monday evening at Red Slab in Rock Canyon when he fell to his death.
Police say he fell about 70 feet while rappelling. His friends tried to resuscitate Stockman, but the injuries were too serious.
Authorities are still trying to determine why he fell.
