LAS VEGAS (AP) — The 58-year-old former owner of a Las Vegas gun store has pleaded guilty to three federal weapons charges ahead of trial in a case involving a dozen other charges.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports (http://bit.ly/29AsdKK ) that Kelly Carn pleaded guilty Wednesday to unlawful receipt or possession of a machine gun while he owned the Gun Vault Inc.
The other charges, including forging federal gun registration applications, are set for dismissal at Carn's sentencing Oct. 6 before U.S. District Judge Andrew Gordon.
Carn's attorney didn't immediately respond Friday to messages.
Carn is free without bond. He was indicted in September 2013 in the federal case.
He pleaded guilty in January in Nevada state court to a felony theft charge in a 2012 firearms case, and was sentenced to probation and restitution.
