BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (AP) — Former Argentine President Cristina Fernandez has filed a complaint against the judge who recently opened an investigation into allegations she defrauded the state as part of her government's handling of the dollar futures market.
Fernandez filed the complaint against judge Claudio Bonadio after appearing in his court in connection with the case.
She told reporters that "it has been visibly demonstrated" that the harassment against her reached "ridiculous" proportions. She said she took advantage of her visit to the court building to file a complaint with a federal prosecutor alleging that the judge and a lawmaker had colluded in the case.
