ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — The first inside look at the Florida nightclub shooting is expected today when the FBI releases a printed, partial transcript of the conversations between the gunman within the Pulse gay nightclub and Orlando police negotiators. Federal investigators have been promising more insight into the tragedy that killed 49 people.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Four gun control measures face Senate votes today including two from each party, but the net result is expected to be zero given the current political climate. Polls show large numbers of Americans agree with the need for at least some limited gun measures. But no lawmakers are willing to challenge opposition from the National Rifle Association and no mass shooting the past five years has led to new laws.

PARIS (AP) — French and Belgian lawmakers are teaming up in their investigations of Islamic State group terrorist activity in both Brussels and Paris. Meanwhile the head of the Belgian commission of inquiry is calling for a common judicial investigation and more cooperation on a European level.

VIENNA (AP) — A senior United Nations official says Israel may be ready to move the world closer to implementing a treaty banning nuclear weapons tests. Lassina Zerbo, who heads the U.N. organization created to implement the treaty, says following a meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu, that Israel's prime minister declared today that his country is prepared to ratify the treaty and it's a question of when, not if.

JAKARTA, Indonesia (AP) — Rescuer workers in Indonesia have found a dozen more bodies following landslides and flooding on Indonesia's Java island. Officials say the death toll is now 47. Dozens of houses were buried in the landslides and thousands of homes were inundated by floods in 16 districts and towns in Central Java province over the weekend.
