LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities say the second day of the Electric Daisy Carnival took place at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway with few incidents.
Police reported Sunday that there were no fatalities or major injuries.
About 135,000 people attended the event with 34 having to be removed.
According to officers, there were more than 200 medical calls but they were minor. A dozen people went to the hospital.
About 40 people were arrested for narcotics-related felony offenses.
Clark County fire officials say a fire ignited on one stage after a pyrotechnic device failed to operate properly.
But firefighters on standby kept it from spreading.
A stage employee suffered minor injuries.
More than 250 musicians are set to perform at the three-night nocturnal event billed as the largest dance music event in North America.
