NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (AP) — Authorities are identifying a 28-year-old California man who died after being struck by a vehicle during the weekend in North Las Vegas, where police say an investigation of the crash is continuing.

The Clark County coroner said Monday that a cause and manner of death are pending for Anthony David Petsuch of Chino, California.

North Las Vegas police Officer Aaron Patty says Petsuch wasn't in a crosswalk when he was struck by a Ford SUV about 10 p.m. Saturday at Deer Springs Way and Goldfield Street.

Petsuch was later pronounced dead at University Medical Center in Las Vegas.

Patty says the vehicle driver was questioned at the scene, but no arrest was immediately made.
