SALT LAKE CITY -- Patrons will now be required to submit their bags for inspection to gain entry to a Salt Lake City nightclub that caters to the LGBTQ community.

The owner of Try-Angles told KSL Newsradio it's a change that was inspired by a deadly attack on a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida.

Salt Lake City Mayor Jackie Biskupski and Equality Utah Executive Director Troy Williams also weighed in on the shooting in an interview with the Doug Wright Show.
