ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — A suspect and "The Voice" star Christina Grimmie have died in a shooting at a Florida concert venue where the singer was signing autographs after a show. He brother tackled the gunman, who shot himself during the struggle. The gunman was not identified, and police have not said why he attacked the singer.

DALLAS (AP) — A Maryland man just out of jail on bond is in stable condition with gunshot wounds at a Texas hospital after police say he charged an officer at Love Field in Dallas, disrupting airport operations. Police say Shawn Nicholas Diamond of Edgewood, Maryland had rocks in his hands as he advanced menacingly toward an officer who fired his gun. Police say Diamond first damaged his girlfriend's car.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Donald Trump went back on the attack without a teleprompter Friday, insisting he's not a racist. Trump spoke to an evangelical audience and a later rally in Richmond, Virginia. About a hundred protesters showed up. Hillary Clinton gave a speech to Planned Parenthood decrying Trump, who she says "does not hold women in high regard."

DETROIT (AP) — Electric car maker Tesla Motors Inc. is denying allegations of a suspension issue with its Model S. The Palo Alto, California, company said one of its cars had an abnormal amount of rust on a suspension part, a problem it hasn't seen in any other car. Federal Safety officials have been requesting more information. The agency has not opened a formal investigation.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Muhammad Ali spoke his mind but his memorial service ended with a moment of silence followed by a closing prayer. Earlier, stars and dignitaries were among the eulogists as thousands packed an interfaith service in Ali's hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. Police say the parade route for Ali was lined with an estimated 100,000 people.
