ALAMO, Nev. (AP) — A sheriff's dispatcher in Nevada's Lincoln County says no calls came in about a small earthquake that researchers reported in a Great Basin mountain range about 90 miles north of Las Vegas.

The Nevada Seismological Laboratory at the University of Nevada, Reno, says the temblor registered a magnitude 3.3, and rumbled about 1:48 p.m. Monday about 5.5 miles southwest of Alamo.

No damage or injuries were reported.

The site isn't far from Badger Mountain.

That's a rugged area west of Upper Pahranagat (Pah-RAN'-ah-guht) Lake and U.S. Highway 93.
