Economists find much to dislike in jobs report

SALT LAKE CITY -- Employers added just 38,000 jobs in May nationwide, so while the unemployment rate drops to 4.7%, many analysts say the report is very disappointing.

Adam Shapiro, Fox Business Anchor, tells Utah's Morning News, the rate has only gone down because of the sheer number of people who have given up trying to find work.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics releases monthly jobless numbers every first Friday for the month before.
