CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — The entire South Carolina coast is under a tropical storm warning. Bonnie formed Saturday afternoon and heavy rains from the system are already ruining the start of the long holiday weekend. The storm has stalled about 130 miles off the coast but is expected to move toward land overnight and come ashore south of Charleston on Sunday.

UNDATED (AP) — (AP) — Authorities in Texas now say four people have died in flooding and two are still missing. Torrential rains swept through the southeastern part of the state this week swelling rivers and creeks that have overrun some communities. The bodies of two missing motorists were found Saturday in Washington County. Two other deaths in the county were already reported.

ATLANTA (AP) — A Georgia sheriff's deputy is being treated at a hospital after being shot in the face during an interstate traffic stop about 80 miles south of downtown Atlanta. WTVM-TV reports the deputy was shot early Saturday evening while walking up to the vehicle. His condition isn't known. Police are searching for a 1994 blue Chevrolet Caprice with three people inside that fled the scene.

WASHINGTON (AP) — A federal judge is ordering the release of Trump University internal documents in a class-action lawsuit against the now-defunct real estate school owned by presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. The order by U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel in San Diego came Friday in response to a request by The Washington Post.

VALLEJO, Calif. (AP) — The search for a missing teenager has ended in a remote Northern California area. Investigators say they found no sign of 15-year-old Pearl Pinson in Sonoma Coast State Park. She was last seen Wednesday being dragged across a freeway overpass by an armed acquaintance. The suspect was killed Thursday about 300 miles away as he tried to flee in his car.
