NORFOLK, Va. (AP) — The Navy says all four aviators injured in a crash involving two fighter jets have been released from the hospital.

Media outlets report that the crew members were released Friday from Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where they were treated for minor injuries.

The aviators ejected from their F/A-18 Super Hornets after what the Navy is calling an "in-flight mishap" during a training exercise Thursday off the coast of North Carolina. They were rescued in the water by the Coast Guard and a private yacht.

The crew is part of Strike Fighter Squadron 211, based in Virginia Beach. Their names have not been released.
