BOSTON (AP) — Supermodel Gisele Bundchen says her spirit animal is a sea turtle, and she's throwing her celebrity behind a United Nations effort to save those and other creatures.
Bundchen announced her participation this week in "Wild for Life ," a new U.N. campaign trying to end the illegal trade in endangered or threatened species.
Her face is featured in a promotional graphic that says: "I am Gisele Bundchen. I am a sea turtle."
Bundchen also tweeted: "Much of the world's wildlife is facing extinction. To overcome this, we need a radical change in people*s attitude."
As part of the campaign, the U.N. is inviting people around the globe to take a quiz supposedly designed to determine their kindred animals.
Bundchen is married to New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.
