NEW YORK (AP) — Officials say the Resorts World Casino was evacuated because of an electrical fire.
The fire was reported shortly before 11 p.m. Saturday.
A spokesman for the New York City Fire Department says firefighters discovered an electrical fire in the casino, located in the Jamaica neighborhood of Queens. He says it was brought under control about 30 minutes later.
The casino began allowing guests back into the building early Sunday.
Authorities say no injuries have been reported.
