LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police in Las Vegas are searching for the boyfriend of a woman who was found stabbed to death in her home.
Authorities on Friday identified 54-year-old Michael Garcia as a person of interest in the homicide.
Investigators say police responded to a report of a body found in a home around 2:30 p.m.
They located a woman with multiple stab wounds and pronounced her dead at the scene.
Police say she had been dead for several days.
They are seeking Garcia, who they say was in a relationship with the victim at the time of her death.
The Clark County Coroner's Office will release the victim's identity as well as an official cause of death.
Anyone with information related to the case is asked to contact authorities.
