MUHELNBERG, Pa. (AP) — A vocational school employee's handgun ended up in a student's hands.
The Reading Muhlenberg Career and Technology Center says the employee had left the legally registered weapon in the employee's vehicle and had arranged for students to work on the car. Police were called when the employee noticed the gun was missing and officers recovered the weapon within six hours.
The student has been suspended and the employee has resigned.
