ANTIGO, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin authorities say one person is expected to leave a hospital today while two others have been moved to another facility after a shooting at a high school prom left three people injured. WSAW-TV reports the entrance to the high school remains blocked to traffic, but parents were being allowed through to reunite with their children. Other details are not immediately available.
PIKETON, Ohio (AP) — Tension remains today among residents of the rural southern Ohio community of Piketon after the shooting deaths of eight members of a tight-knit family known in the area as hard workers. Authorities still have no suspect in custody in the deaths of seven adults and teenage boy. They also don't know why the killings took place. Authorities said none of the injuries appeared self-inflicted.

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (AP) — Flying on nothing but the power of the sun and stored electricity, Solar Impulse 2 has landed in Mountain View, California, following a risky, three-day flight across the Pacific Ocean as part of its journey around the world. Pilot Bertrand Piccard taxied the plane into a huge tent erected on Moffett Airfield where Piccard was greeted by project's team. The plane's wings, which stretch wider than those of a Boeing 747, are equipped with 17,000 solar cells.
