UNDATED (AP) — A solar-powered airplane is now flying around the San Francisco Bay area following 56 hours over the Pacific Ocean. Pilot Bertrand Piccard flew the plane above the Golden Gate Bridge. Solar Impulse 2, which is on an around-the-world journey to promote renewable energy, will stay aloft until midnight when winds decrease for a landing in Mountain View.

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — North Korea says it successfully test-fired a ballistic missile from a submarine and strengthened its nuclear attack capabilities. Hours before the announcement by North Korea's state media Sunday, South Korean military officials said the North had fired what appeared to be a ballistic missile from a sub off its eastern coast.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Prince's publicist says the music superstar's remains have been cremated. She also says a small group of family, friends and musicians celebrated his life in a private ceremony today. Some fans who gathered outside Paisley Park today received a special memento after the ceremony. The 57-year-old singer died Thursday at his home in suburban Minneapolis.

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) — A confident Donald Trump says he's not changing his pitch to voters, a day after his chief adviser assured Republican officials their party's front-runner would show more restraint while campaigning. He told thousands at a rally in Bridgeport, Connecticut, today that being presidential is easy, but if he doesn't "rant and rave" people will fall asleep.

SMITHFILED, R.I. (AP) — Republican presidential hopeful John Kasich is campaigning in Rhode Island ahead of the state's April 26 primary. Kasich held a town hall event today at Bryant University in Smithfield, where he urged voters to reject GOP front-runner Donald Trump. Kasich kicked off the rally by telling the crowd of about 750 they were "made special" and "made for a purpose."
