WASHINGTON (AP) — Hillary Clinton says Republicans are living in a world of "fantasy and hope" if they think she'll be indicted over her use of a private email server while serving as secretary of state. In an interview this morning on NBC's "Today" show, Clinton says the suggestion by Republicans that she'll be taken out of the election equation because of criminal charges shows how desperate the GOP has become. She says their "fondest wishes" won't come true.

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Sen. Bernie Sanders says Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign has decided to "go negative" against him after his recent string of primary season victories. Sanders tells MSNBC's "Morning Joe" that he's encouraging Clinton to "get back to the issues." Sanders is defending speaking out harshly against Clinton, saying "we've got to fight back" against statements that she's made.

VATICAN CITY (AP) — Pope Francis has released a 256-page document today, telling Catholics that individual conscience should be the guiding principle for them concerning issues such as sex, marriage and family life. The pope isn't making any changes to church doctrine, but he says the church must no longer sit in judgment and "throw stones" against those who fail to live up to the Gospel's ideals of marriage and family life.

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) — Atlantic City officials are awaiting word on whether they can make payroll. A judge is expected to decide today if the city can make a scheduled payroll payment or save the money for its school system. That would force Atlantic City to shut down non-essential government services. On Monday, New Jersey filed suit to stop the city from making the payroll payment because it owes its school district more than $30 million.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — The celebration isn't over yet for the Villanova Wildcats. The men's basketball team is being thrown a parade in Philadelphia today, for its NCAA victory. The parade route will take team members, Villanova's school band and cheerleaders along five downtown blocks before ending at City Hall. Villanova's suburban campus is closed and all classes are canceled so anyone who works or attends the university can celebrate along with the team.
