MEDFORD, Mass. (AP) — Tufts University police are investigating after a female student woke up in her dorm room over the weekend to a strange man rubbing her arm.
A police alert issued Sunday stated that the student reported to university officials that the incident occurred around 3:55 a.m. Saturday at Wren Hall on the school's campus in Medford.
The student, who wasn't identified, called campus police and arriving officers searched the area but couldn't locate the suspect.
Police say they are looking for a white or Hispanic male approximately 5-foot-8 with short black hair. The suspect was wearing a dark shirt at the time of the break-in.
Students told WFXT-TV that a similar incident occurred about a month ago in the women's shower area of another residence hall on campus.
