A report says the Southwest Utah Public Health Department in St. George failed to release the data and transferred money to its nonprofit foundation to circumvent state law. The health department says it has taken steps to address the auditor's report.
SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — A former campaign consultant for Utah Sen. Mike Lee will serve as the new president of the conservative Sutherland Institute, replacing a leader asked to step down two years ago amid disagreements about the organization's future. The Utah think tank says Boyd Matheson is expected to assume his new post early next month.
