House Speaker Scott Bedke says the House will take up the contentious legislation today.
BOISE, Idaho (AP) — The Idaho House has approved an anti-abortion measure aimed at prohibiting clinics from donating fetal tissue. The measure would also ban research centers and universities from using tissue for research. Four Democratic lawmakers boycotted the vote.
BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A bill that would charge teenagers with a misdemeanor, instead of a felony, if they are caught sending sexually explicit material via mobile devices has cleared the Idaho Legislature. Teens convicted under the current law face can prison time and may also have to register as a sex offender.
