BRUSSELS (AP) — Officials in Belgium say the suspected bombmaker in the Paris attacks in November was one of two suicide bombers who targeted the Brussels airport. The revelation came as Belgians began three days of mourning for the victims of the airport and subway bombings. The attacks killed 31 people, not including three suicide bombers.

DENVER (AP) — A powerful spring blizzard stranded travelers at Denver's airport and shut down hundreds of miles of highway in Colorado, Wyoming and Nebraska. Snow blown by gusts up to around 50 mph made it unsafe for planes to land or take off at Denver International Airport, leading officials to close it around midday.
KIOWA, Kan. (AP) — Fire crews are working to contain a wildfire burning across at least 75 square miles in rural Oklahoma and Kansas. Authorities say strong wind and dry conditions have also increased fire threats in neighboring states. No injuries reported.
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Actor Ken Howard, who starred in the 1970s series "The White Shadow" and served as president of SAG-AFTRA, has died at age 71. The union announced Howard's death today. No cause of death was given.
