JERICHO, Vt. (AP) — Vermont State Police say a Jericho couple has been found dead inside their home and authorities suspect they died of carbon monoxide poisoning.
Police have not released the names of the husband and wife.
Police said Wednesday that the man and woman had not shown up for work so co-workers became concerned. Firefighters responded to the home where a caller had described a strong smell of gas. They said they found the couple dead and very high levels of carbon monoxide inside the home.
Police say there are no signs of foul play.
