SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Utah's Republican party says a new online voting system for its presidential caucus is generally performing well, though there have been some problems. GOP Director of Communications Cindie Quintana says nearly 59,000 people registered to vote online. That's about the total of number of voters who participated in 2014.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — The family of a Mormon missionary from Utah who was seriously wounded in an attack on the Brussels airport says he suffered burns and shrapnel injuries but is recovering after surgery. Court and Amber Empey say their son, Joseph Empey, is doing well after being treated for second-degree burns to his hands, face and head.

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. (AP) — The foster family of a 6-year-old Native American girl is asking the California Supreme Court to return the child to their home where she has lived for most of her life. The girl named Lexi was removed yesterday under a court order that concluded her slight Choctaw heritage requires that he be placed with relatives in Utah.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — An exhibition game scheduled today between the Los Angeles Angels and their Triple-A affiliate, the Salt Lake Bees, in Salt Lake City has been canceled because of snow. A spring snowstorm moved into the area Tuesday morning and blanketed the city.
