HAVANA (AP) — The initial public event of President Barack Obama's first full day in Cuba will be at Havana's sprawling Revolution Square, where giant sculptures of revolutionary leaders gaze down from ministry buildings. It's home to the government palace, the seat of executive power, and the national library. The plaza is where the government organizes massive patriotic marches and where in years past Fidel Castro made a habit of giving hours-long speeches under the blazing sun.
WASHINGTON (AP) — Hillary Clinton is planning to take some veiled shots at Donald Trump during an address today to a pro-Israel advocacy organization. Her campaign says she will also stress that the relationship with Israel is not "negotiable." In February, Trump said he'd be "sort of a neutral guy" on Israel, sparking criticism from Republican allies of Israel.

It was previously in the hands of an al-Qaida affiliate and other militant factions. The activists say the Yarmouk Martyrs Brigades, which are loyal to the IS, captured the village of Tseel today.
BOSTON (AP) — Many New Englanders are breathing a sigh of relief that a snowstorm on the first full day of spring wasn't as bad as expected. Plymouth nurse Kathy McKee says she thought she had seen the last of snow this year and was disappointed when she saw the forecast. But she was pleasantly surprised when the storm didn't dump as much snow as predicted. Only three or four inches of snow had fallen by this morning, even though some forecasts had predicted as much as 10 inches of snow.

Starwood Hotels jumped 4 percent after agreeing to a new offer to be acquired by Marriott International.
