TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — Donald Trump came to the border state of Arizona to talk tough on immigration and the protesters were there too. He told a Tucson crowd illegal immigration is dangerous. Protesters showed up at every event, blockading the main road into his outdoor Phoenix rally and getting thrown out in Tucson. Democratic contender Bernie Sanders campaigned at the U.S.-Mexico border event in Nogales.

HAVANA (AP) — Cubans have been sprucing up Havana in anticipation of President Barack Obama's arrival today. Obama's visit to the tiny island nation will serve as a powerful symbol of the relationship that the U.S. and Cuba are now forging after a half-century of Cold War acrimony.

ROSTOV-ON-DON, Russia (AP) — An airport in southern Russia remains closed today awaiting runway repairs following the crash of a plane carrying 62 people. Emergency workers finished the job today of combing the debris-laden runway while hundreds of people flocked to the airport to lay flowers and leave candles and toys in memory of the dead. FlyDubai's Boeing 737-800 from Dubai nosedived and exploded during a second landing attempt in high wind.

JERUSALEM (AP) — Suspicion has fallen on Jewish extremists after a fire today at them home of a Palestinian relative of three people killed in an arson attack last year. The man and his wife escaped today's fire. He's a key witness to last year's incident and is testifying at the trial of two Jewish extremists. An 18-month old child was among the dead in last year's fire.

TELLURIDE, Colo. (AP) — A 69-year-old man from South Carolina died Saturday after he crashed into trees while skiing in Telluride, the second skiing fatality in the resort town in 10 days. The San Miguel County Sheriff's Office says George A. Nolan of Greenwood was skiing with his daughter-in-law when he lost his skis and slid head-first on his side. He was wearing a helmet.
