A judge said last week he'd appoint a lawyer today for Brenda Stokes Wilson, whose sentencing has been postponed.
LAS VEGAS (AP) — A dozen people were hurt when a shuttle bus overturned on a Las Vegas freeway after colliding with another vehicle. The Nevada Highway Patrol says the collision happened just before 7:45 p.m. Saturday on Interstate 15 near the Washington Avenue exit.
LAS VEGAS (AP) — Las Vegas fire officials say one person has died and several people were displaced by a fire in an apartment complex yesterday morning. Clark County Fire Department spokesman Jeff Buchanan says smoke was visible from the eaves of a second-story unit. Firefighters found the fire in an upstairs kitchen.
NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (AP) — A man was killed when a motorcycle and a car collided in North Las Vegas early Sunday. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say three people in the car suffered minor injuries and were not taken to the hospital.
